Living in  a new place and making it a livable environment for two Disney nerds takes a lot of time!

I can’t wait to show you all pictures of the finished “product”

- The Tiki Room bathroom is kitschy and fun! We’ve just gotta get some accessories (bath mat, towels, and a shelf for Tiki Stitch) and we’ll be done. There are Tiki gods EVERYWHERE!  We’ve even got a framed/matted picture of the Orange Bird/Sunshine Terrace. Its awesome :D

- The POTC bathroom is coming together really well. Its classy and mature while still being fun. You know the POTC attraction posted? We framed and matted it and stuck it on the wall with some framed Marc Davis POTC concept art. We found, at Kohl’s of all places) a shower curtain with matching towels that looks exactly like Jack Sparrow’s bandana! 

And there’s so much more to tell you about, but I’d rather show ya! :D

Guys! Tonight we got the keys to our apartment and started moving stuff in! whoo hooo!

Did I tell you all that we picked  out paint colors that would go with the themes of each room?

That’s BEHR’s “Magical Moment” on the wall there. Fitting, no?

That horrendous green color actually doesn’t look as vomit-inducing once you see the SHAG Disney print hanging above it. What lives above that chair railing is this:

and lemme tell ya, it is GINORMOUS! Takes up the entire wall almost. 

The movers come tomorrow to help us with the big ticket items, but I’m hoping to be all out of the terrible roommate situation by tomorrow night.
